What is the Poker Run?? A Poker Run is not a race , it is a game
of chance and a assembly of some of the hottest,
fastest and exotic boats in North America!
The public gather with wide-eyed , love-struck
thoughts like children over these super-fast
water vessels. A Poker Run is fun on the
water with power to burn.
The Do's And Don'ts !!
If you get caught in the middle of the Poker
Run Pack, out on the water:
Don't: bring your boat to a stop and turn
off your engine!
Don't: Point your bow towards the pack so
you can see the action better!
Don't: try to outrun the pack, you won't
make it!
(You not only endanger yourself,
but every
one in the immediate area).
Don't: stand up and wave to them! (at 70
+ mph they wont have time to
wave back.)
Do: pay attention to the marshal boats! (They
are there for your protection)
Do: when you here a load rumbling noise get
as close to the shore!
(It is the safest place to
stay out of the
way)
